Academics: World Languages
The World Language Department at Douglas Anderson offers Spanish, French, Italian and Latin. Emphasis is placed on the performance standards of reading, listening, writing and speaking. Linguistic specifications reflect the Sunshine State Standards. Students are encouraged to create with and think in the target language.
Teachers have traveled extensively throughout Europe, South America and Asia. They are enthusiastic, well-rounded, vibrant educators and are dedicated to encouraging their students to explore other cultures.
