Douglas Anderson student wins state poetry contest

For the second year in a row, Monique Henry, a student at Douglas Anderson School of Arts, has been named the statewide winner in the Poetry Out Loud recitation contest. Monique received $200, an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C., and $500 worth of poetry books for her school’s library. [Click here to read more.]
